Gather your ingredients and make this a fun family activity! Cranberries are optional in this recipe, but we love adding them for a little extra flavor. Cranberries are a great source of vitamin C and are high in fiber.

Ingredients:

  • 3 cups sliced apples
  • 2 tablespoons sugar
  • 1 teaspoon corn starch
  • 1 1\2 teaspoons water
  • 1\2 teaspoon lemon juice
  • 1\2 quick cooking oats
  • 1\4 cup all purpose flour
  • 1\2 cup packed brown sugar
  • 1\2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1\4 cup cold butter
  • 1\4 cup dried cranberries (optional)
