This recipe uses the Make Ahead Beef Mix

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup Make Ahead Beef Mix, thawed
  • 1/2 cup dry whole-wheat macaroni
  • 1 1/2 cups water
  • 2 tablespoons ketchup or barbecue sauce

Directions:

  1. Wash hands with warm water and soap, scrubbing for 20 seconds.
  2. Combine water, macaroni, and beef mix in a medium saucepan and bring to a boil.
  3. Cook over medium heat for 10 to 15 minutes or until macaroni is tender.
  4. Stir in ketchup or barbecue sauce. Serve.
  5. Refrigerate leftovers within 2 hours.
