Chili Mac

This recipe uses the Make Ahead Beef Mix

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup Make Ahead Beef Mix, thawed
  • ½ cup canned low-sodium red kidney beans, drained and rinsed
  • ¼ cup dry whole-wheat macaroni
  • ¼ cup water

Directions:

  1. Wash hands with warm water and soap, scrubbing for 20 seconds.
  2. Add ingredients to a medium saucepan and bring to a boil.
  3. Reduce heat and simmer gently, uncovered, until mixture thickens, and macaroni is tender -about 15 minutes. Add more water, a little at a time, if you prefer more liquid. Serve.
  4. Refrigerate leftovers within 2 hours.
