Ingredients:
- 1 to 1 1/2 pounds pork tenderloin
- 1 tablespoon vegetable or olive oil
- 3 tablespoons brown sugar or honey
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 tablespoon soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon red wine or apple cider vinegar
- 1/2 teaspoon paprika
Directions:
- Wash hands with warm water and soap, scrubbing at least 20 seconds.
- Preheat oven to 425 degrees F. Or preheat an air fryer to 400 degrees F.
- If using the oven, cover a small sheet pan with parchment paper or foil for easy cleanup. For the air fryer, use a paper liner or foil in the basket to hold the sauce.
- Place tenderloin in the center of the pan or air fryer basket. For a small air fryer, it may be necessary to cut the tenderloin in half to fit, but this will help it cook quicker. Rewash hands after handling raw pork.
- Whisk together the remaining ingredients in a small bowl. Pour half of the sauce over the pork, turning to coat all sides.
- Roast in the preheated oven for 30 to 40 minutes or cook in the air fryer 20 to 25 minutes or until the internal temperature of the pork reaches 145 degrees F as measured by a meat thermometer. For smaller tenderloins, start testing the temperature early. Rotate the pork every 10 minutes of cooking time for even browning on all sides. Add the remaining sauce halfway through the cooking time.
- Allow pork to rest for 5 minutes before slicing into 1-inch sections. Drizzle with any remaining pan sauce before serving.
- Refrigerate leftovers within 2 hours.
