Venison Sloppy Joes

Venison Sloppy Joes on plate

Give these Sloppy Joes a try. You’ll be glad you did.

Ingredients:

  • 1 pound ground venison
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 1 green bell pepper, chopped
  • 2 stalks celery, chopped
  • 2 tablespoons brown sugar
  • ¼ cup water
  • ¼ cup vinegar
  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice
  • 8 ounces low-sodium condensed tomato soup
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tablespoon prepared mustard

Directions:

Mix all ingredients in a medium saucepan. Cook over medium heat for approximately 30 minutes. Serve on whole grain bun.
