Simple Salsa

Servings:8Serving Size:1/2 cup

Ingredients:

  • 3 tomatoes, chopped
  • ½ cup onion, finely diced
  • 1 green pepper, finely chopped
  • ½ cup fresh cilantro, chopped
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 2 teaspoons lime juice

Directions:

  1. Mix all the ingredients in a bowl.
  2. Enjoy!

Tips

Dip in green peppers, celery, carrots, cucumbers, broccoli and other vegetables or eat with whole-grain tortilla chips. Salsa can be served as a topping on pizza, baked potato or tacos. It can also replace pasta sauce.
